Lopez Island is one of four Islands in the San Juan Island chain in northwest Washington State that can be reached by ferry. The rugged landscape and views ranging from Canada, just across the water, to the Olympic Peninsula, are too good to pass up and you don't have to try very hard to see whales, seals, sea lions and bald eagles - everywhere.
