In 1973, local rancher and billionaire fine art collector, Stanley Marsh 3rd hired hippies from a San Francisco art group called The Ant Farm.  Their mission was to create a roadside attraction to honor Rt. 66 and America's obsession with cars.  Their creation culminated in one of the most iconic modern art displays in America and is visited by thousands of people every year.  Anyone who has a love for Cadillacs, modern art, Texas or Route 66, should make the trip to this place.  There is simply nothing like it, anywhere.
